Syntax of the Command File

The Command File is an ASCII file which can be created in notepad or the editor of your choice. Since it is a windows command file the file extension is .CMD.

The PRODASV35 run command line contains up to three elements separated by one or more spaces. Each element specifies a file. The thing that makes it look cumbersome is that each file needs to include the file path and if the path includes spaces then the element must be enclosed in double quotes.

The following shows the contents of the command file to launch PRODASV35 used in this tutorial. Since the line is so long it is wrapped with each section in a different box for clarity.
